China Mobile Research Institute and Anite Collaborate in TD-LTE Test Technology
China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI), the R&D division of China Mobile, the world's largest mobile operator, and Anite, a global leader in wireless device testing technology, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on research in order to facilitate the global roll-out of TD-LTE technology.

SingTel launches first commercial LTE mobile broadband service in Singapore
The Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile broadband by SingTel, named Mobile Prestige 75, is the first in the country to be made available to both the consumer and business. It has a speed of more than 3 times faster than the existing 3G broadband service (from 4.8Mbps to 12Mbps). However, it is only available for users of the USB dongle modems, and will only be supported on smartphones and tablets when it is more established in the market.
