According to United Nations forecasts, the proportion of the human population residing in cities is expected to grow to nearly 60 percent by 2030 and to almost 70 percent by 2050.

Only in Asia, 40 million people are added to city populations each year. For China, it is estimated that 18 million people per year move to urban environments and, that by 2025, China will have 221 cities with over 1 million people (Europe has 35 today), which means 81 new cities have to be built by 2025.

Never before have we seen such large scale shifts of population and it will create tremendous both long term...
