Application of Cloud Computing in Insurance云计算在保险中的应用

The industry-wide sharing of users’ insurance information can be achieved through cloud platforms, as well as its storage and management through cloud computing technologies, thereby improving actuarial pricing and reducing consumers’ adverse selection issues. Meanwhile, the combination of cloud computing, AI and big data makes it easier to identify potential customers of insurance products. Cloud computing improves the real-time interactivity and interaction of information, facilitates the construction of standardized workflow, and accelerates the auditing of insurance and the speed of dealing with claims.
用户保险信息的全行业共享可以通过云平台来实现，并改善精算定价，减少消费者的逆向选择问题。同时，云计算、人工智能和大数据的结合，使得保险产品的潜在客户更容易被识别、识别成本更低，使得保险公司可以将资金有计划、有重点地进行投放，效用最大化地提升服务质量，及时挽留易流失客户、识别保险欺诈案例，同时也使得客户能够更好根据自身风险特征打造属于自己的保险一揽子计划。云计算提高了信息的实时交互性，有利于构建标准化的工作流程，加快了保险的审核、理赔环节速度。 |
Problems of Using Cloud Computing: Security 云计算应用痛点
Cloud computing, especially the security of public cloud or hybrid cloud is still low. The application of cloud computing is currently limited to the layer of infrastructure services, and has not yet reached the level of cloud management. Furthermore, the pool of personnel with both cloud computing technology and insurance knowledge is not sufficient and the process of pricing is still not a market unification. However, with the advancement of national policies, the implementation of government action and plan, the increased attention of academia, it is confident to believe that all of these problems can be solved properly in the near future.
云计算，尤其是公有云和混合云的安全性仍然较低，目前云计算的应用较局限于基础设施层服务，尚未达到云管理的层次，在云计算技术和保险交叉领域的人才储备也不够充沛，定价也未达成市场统一，这为使用云计算、创新云计算带来了一定的问题。不过，随着国家政策的推进，政府的行动、学界的关注，相信这些问题在未来都能够得到妥善的解决。
The 2nd InsurTech Innovation Congress China 2018, organized by SZ&W Group and academically supported by Insurance Research Institute of Fudan University, will be held on Sep. 12-14th, in Shanghai, China.
