Data in 2019 showed that 8 factories of P&G China have realized zero landfill of production waste. A P&G plant in China uses 100% clean renewable electricity and zero carbon dioxide emissions. In 2020, P&G's digital transformation will add an enhanced mindset that fundamentally changes the way we work while driving business results and productivity. Millions of dollars have been saved through algorithm-driven Phase-in/Phase-out that optimizes product transformation iterations and reduces time to supply chain proactive planning. As a result, supply chain innovation increased analysis efficiency by 90%, with weekly analysis time reduced to less than 5 minutes. P&G is also said to have redesigned its supply network in North America and Europe. These long-term and cross-regional projects have had a positive impact on P&G's manufacturing and warehousing operations...

In 2021, retail industry in China accelerated the pace of revolution, the innovation of supply chain is the top priority of future layout. In current uncertain environment, how should retail company response to the new normal status such as fast pace, large business volume, agile supply chain more and more popular, increasing replenishment frequency, reducing the amount of goods per order … and etc. to promote supply chain and logistics innovation and ensure sustainable business growth? In the meanwhile, artificial intelligence, digital twin, block chain, 5G, Internet of Things, cloud computing, etc., how these various technological innovations provide support for the development of supply chain and logistics?
With the theme of “ Retail Supply Chain Revolution & Value Reinvention For Accelerating Growth”, the 6th China [New Retail] Smart Supply Chain and Logistics (NR SSCL) Innovation Summit & Awards 2021 (Dec. 14-15th, Shanghai, China) is aiming to provide an answer.
