Share good news about China CSP market: Price bidding of Solar field EPC for CGN Delingha 50MW CSP parabolic trough project opened yesterday on January 4, 2016. Three consortiums joined the competition:
As the above sheet shows, SunCan consortium has the lowest tender price, over RMB100million lower than the other two. It is estimated that overseas procurement costs are almost the same since some of the key components and materials like receiver tube, reflector and HTF are required to have commercial references, however, local costs differ a lot especially in construction, commissioning and structures. SunCan consortium is supposed to be more confident in local procurement and construction cost control. All the three bidders’ technical standard have already been evaluated and checked, SunCan consortium has a lagre opportunity to win the bidding according to the rules of ADB procurement.
The total investment for the project is around USD322.26 million, of which USD150 million is provided by ADB for solar field EPC, HTF, molten salt procurement. As CSP Focus reported earlier, the cost for HTF and molten salt is around RMB200million, predicatively the investment for solar field EPC is around RMB700million.
