If you could have a few minutes, I would like to tell you something about the Italian producer, Eni, in its offshore journey in West Africa.

As you may know, Eni has been present in West Africa since the '60s in Angola, Congo, Ghana, Gabon, Nigeria, Congo, Cote d'Ivoire.
Eni in Angola
From 1980 with a net production of about 105,000 BOE/D. Eni is now the operator of Block 15/06, including East Hub & West Hub.
East Hub Development Project is under development and will start producing in 2017.
In the West Hub Development Projects, Eni has achieved its 3rd start-up milestone this January, bringing Mpungi field on stream after Sangos & Cinguvu fields with efficiency.
Eni in Ghana
Eni is operating the deepwater project Offshore Cape Three Point (OCTP) project, which overall investment is estimated to $7bn with World Bank’s partial risk guarantee.
This integrated oil & gas fields started development from 2015. Oil production is expected from 2017. Meanwhile, gas production from 2018 will provide domestic gas supply to Ghana’s thermal power plants for more than 15 years.
ENI in Congo
Since 1968 and current production is about 110,000 BOE/D.
The new discovery made in the pre-salt Marine XII block last year, has consolidated Eni’s presence in the country.
ENI in Gabon
Eni has made a significant discovery in pre-salt field Nyonie Deep in block D4, with initial potential estimated at 500 million boe.
Eni is still on its way to offshore West Africa, no matter deepwater or pre-salt shallow water. Numerous projects are under development, waiting for their business partners here.
