In West Africa, the growing importance of deepwater reserves makes floating production activity increase despite the oil price downturn. We see the deepwater West Africa, particularly Angola and Nigeria, holds the operators’ interest for FPS deployments in the next five years.

Key projects are expected onstream before 2018 in Angola, Nigeria and Ghana, leading by Eni, Total, Chevron, etc. Offering a few floating production solutions in West Africa, MODEC made its TEN FPSO arriving Ghana this March, looking to produce in the coming August.

Till now, MODEC has operated the following FPUs in deepwater West Africa,

Angola

Cote   d'Ivoire

l  FPSO PSVM

l  FPSO Baobab Ivoirien MV10

Equatorial   Guinea

Ghana

l  Oveng TLP

l  Okume/Ebano TLP

l  FPSO Kwame Nkrumah MV21

l  FPSO Prof. John Evans Atta Mills

Now MODEC is still looking for more FPS deployments in deep offshore West Africa. To get the project updates from operators to expand their business, MODEC has confirmed to send 2 senior executives to Deep Offshore West Africa Congress 2016 (DOWAC 2016) (June 23-24, Accra, Ghana).
