Eni has started production from Ghana's Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) integrated oil and gas project in just two-and-a-half years, three months ahead of schedule. The OCTP development comprises the Sankofa Main, Sankofa East and Gye-Nyame fields, located off the west coast of Ghana. These fields have approximately 770mn boe in place (500mn barrels of oil and 270mn boe of non-associated gas).
As one of the most important explorers in Africa, Eni concluded its performance in Africa 2015 on the 1st Deep Offshore West Africa Congress held on June 22-23, 2016 in Accra.
In 2017, the 2nd Deep Offshore West Africa Congress will return on September 14-15 in Accra, Ghana. Representatives from the local Government, NOCs, IOCs, EPCs as well as other offshore players and experts, will gather together under one roof, to share their insights based on new policy, regulation, local content, oil & gas discovery, project updates and innovative technologies.
