Anglo African Oil & Gas is set to drill the TLP 103 well as part of its operations in the Tilapia offshore oilfield in the Republic of Congo. The drilling of TLP 103 well is expected to take around 45 days.
Sparrows Group and SPIE Oil & Gas Services have secured a joint crane maintenance contract from Total E&P Congo for the Moho Nord development off the coast of Central Africa.
The Republic of Congo is the fourth largest Sub-Saharan producer of oil, with an output of 277,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd), according to BP statistics, its proven oil reserves amounted to 1.6 billion barrels in 2015.
Societe Nationale des Petroles du Congo (SNPC), the national oil company will popularize the tapes containing open blocks general information at the 2nd Deep Offshore West Africa Congress 2017, in Accra, Ghana on September 14-15.
