Italian oil and gas major Eni SpA has confirmed to send 6 VIP Participants at the 2nd Deep Offshore West Africa Congress 2017, in Accra, Ghana on September 14-15.

Ghana
In March 2016, Eni was awarded the operatorship of the Cape Three Points Block 4 exploration license (Eni’s interest 42.47%) in the offshore of the Country. The new block covers an area of approximately 1,000 square kilometers in water depths ranging from 100 to 1,200 meters and is located near the operated OCTP block (Eni’s interest 44.44%).
First oil is expected in 2017 and first gas in 2018. |
Nigeria
Eni has been operating in Nigeria since 1962 mainly in onshore and offshore Exploration & Production.
In 2016, hydrocarbon production, net to Eni, amounted to 117,000 boe/day. Activities are conducted over a developed and undeveloped area of 30,769 square kilometres (7,370 square kilometres net to Eni) mainly in the onshore and offshore Niger Delta.

Angola
Eni started production in the Block 15/06 (Eni operator with a 36.84% interest) at the end of 2014 with the West Hub Development Project that represents the first Eni-operated producing project in the Country.
In 2016, Production started up at the M’Pungi and M’Pungi North fields and the related production ramp-up allowed to achieve an overall production of approximately 81 kbbl/d (approximately 28 kbbl/d net to Eni). |
Republic of Congo
Eni has been present in Republic of Congo since 1968, and activities are focused in the Exploration & Production sector in conventional and deep offshore and onshore areas.
In 2016, production, net to Eni, totalled 98 kboe/d. Activities are conducted in the conventional and deep offshore facing Pointe-Noire and onshore zones covering a developed and undeveloped area of 2,451 square kilometres (1,168 square kilometres net to Eni). |
Liberia
On 2 August 2012, Eni entered Liberia with the acquisition of three offshore exploration blocks. In fact, we signed an agreement with Chevron for the acquisition of a 25% stake in blocks LB11, LB12 and LB14, located in the country’s offshore.
The three blocks, operated by Chevron, extend over an area of some 9,560 square kilometres and are located in waters of depths of between 0 to 3,000 metres.

Gabon
At the end of 2008 Eni, which had already operated in the country from 1987 to 2004, acquired six new high potential exploration licences, over a total area of 6,217 square kilometres.
Two licences (D3 and D4) are located in conventional waters in the prolific north Gabonese basin, whereas the remaining four (E2, F2, F3 and F7) are located in the onshore basin.
All six licences have been granted for an initial explorative phase of four years, renewable for two further periods of four and three years respectively. |
