| Ali Yahaya Amin joined the Petroleum Commission in 2012 as a Geophysicist, he has since been modelled into an enterprising Geoscientist helping the Geoscience Department to generate leads and prospects.He has represented Ghana in conferences abroad and at home promoting the prospectivity of Ghana’s sedimentary basins for foreign and local investors interested in the Upstream Petroleum Industry. Mr. Amin isalso involved in the drafting of Petroleum Regulations and Guidelines. Prior to joining the Petroleum Commission, he worked as a Safety Engineer at Ghana National Gas Company and interned briefly at the Ministry of Energy where his career started in the Upstream Industry. |

Loren Regier is the Africa Commercial Vice President for the ExxonMobil Exploration Companylocated in Houston, Texas. In this capacity he is responsible for the commercial elements of the business for the African operations and new opportunity pursuits in exploration.
Loren attended the University of Saskatchewan, where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Geophysical Engineering in 1991. Shortly thereafter, he began his ExxonMobil career with Imperial Oil in Calgary working on exploration projects in western Canada.
Through his career Loren has held various global assignments in technical and management positions including focus areas of Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Far East Asia and Research. He was assigned to his current position in Dec 2013. |
