The government of Sierra Leone has signed a MOU with Equatorial Guinea on oil and gas exploration. Timothy Musa Kabba, the Director General at the Petroleum Directorate of Sierra Leone said they hoped to use the oil and gas sector to achieve their development goals. Moreover, the government is trying to attract the right investors to operate in a transparent and accountable business environment.
