Dear Colleague,
Indian government planned to auction 69 fields (at least 14 are deepwater ones) in NELP-X in the current fiscal year, with a new policy which is attractive to explorers.
In the new policy, producers are allowed to sell gas at market price and exercise pricing, marketing freedom and explore all forms of hydrocarbon with one license for the block. So,
♦ Will the pricing freedom make the development of these marginal fields viable to the potential operators?
♦ Can the NELP-X attract more international players and bolster Indian domestic exploration?
Now the answer is right before your eyes. Association of Oil & Gas Operators, the local association with 22 members of operators, will send their Secretary General, Ashu Sagar, present a solution for the current status of deepwater Indian exploration and development on Deepwater India Congress 2015 (Nov. 26-27, New Delhi),
