The Indian govt. today proposed to free natural gas pricing as well as replace PSC with simpler revenue-sharing regime for all future field auctions to incentivize production.

In the new regime, the oil companies will see it more viable and less delay to make investment to the upcoming 69 fields in India. But what exactly the new regime will bring to Indian oil & gas exploration? The ministry today invited comments from stakeholders on a consultation paper on it.
