At the end of July, Osram announced that it had strategically bought 25.1% stake of LeddarTech which is a Canadian lidar company. Its patented technology has been integrated into the semiconductor and sensor modules of self-driving cars and driver assistance systems. Its advanced technology is a powerful complement to Osram semiconductor products. The move will strengthen osram's leading position in autonomous driving.
