From 2012-2016, Philippines has lower dairy production, so their dairy products mainly relies on importation. Actually, National Dairy Industry, Philippines has already set many dairy industry policies and development programs. In our last dairy conference for Asia, Grace J. Cenas from National Dairy Industry made the presentation about it.

Priority Programs and Projects
Design credit systems that will provide loans, grants and other services as may be required, to dairy cooperatives;
Assist dairy cooperatives in developing market channels and in negotiation for bulk outlets of milk output;
Promote a nationwide campaign for the development of a local dairy industry;
Extension support, education and training programs for dairy farmers and cooperatives;
Dairy research and development;
Support services in the acquisition of basic supplies and inputs for animal health and nutrition; and,
Build up the number and quality of local animal stocks through applied technology.

At this year, Philippines was also be focused by industry players. So in September 10-12, Singapore, 3rd Global Dairy Congress & Exhibition Asia 2017, provide some sessions to invite 250+ Asia Leading dairy industry players to communicate.
