Recently, Fonterra has reopened its milk powder manufacturing plant at the Susumas in Malaysia(Which will allow the plant to blend and pack around 30,000 metric tonnes of milk power products a year) following a US$4.8m investment to boost manufacturing efficiencies and ensure it continues to meet health and safety, and food safety and quality standards.
