The Ministry of Agriculture expects that in 2019, 31 million tons of milk will be produced in Russia. This was announced at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin by Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in 2018 milk production in Russia increased by 1.4% compared to 2017 and amounted to 30.611 million tons.
