Dr Philip Lloyd is a senior engineer with a wide range of
industrial experience in both contracting and consulting. He
also has returned to academic life and has spent much of
the past 19 years in many aspects of the energy industry.
Industrially, in recent years he has been deeply involved as
the expert witness for the plaintiff regarding a major
minerals processing plant which failed, before the
International Court of Arbitration, and in the development
of a major desalination project in Southern Africa.
Academically he has been concerned with climate change,
carbon capture and storage, and means for energising lower
income homes.
