Ms Ditebogo Kgomo is the Chief Director responsible for Nuclear Policy at the Department of Energy. In this role she is responsible for nuclear policy matters in the areas of nuclear safety, nuclear technology, nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear security. She has a Master of Science from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Energy Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland. Ditebogo is a member of several professional bodies – Institute of Directors Southern Africa (IoDSA), South African Chemical Institute (SACI), South African Young Nuclear Professionals (SAYNPS), Women in Nuclear South Africa (WiNSA) and has also served as a member of the Board of the National Nuclear Regulator (2008-2012).
