Didier LOUVAT is the Managing Director of the European
Nuclear Safety Training and Tutoring Institute, ENSTTI. From
2003 to 2010, He led the IAEA Programme on Radioactive
Waste Management as Head of the Waste and Environmental
Safety Section in the IAEA Department of Nuclear Safety and
Security. Previous to that he headed the Radioecological
Studies laboratory of the French Institute for Radiation
Protection and Nuclear Safety, IRSN. Before that, he holds
several positions at the Department of Nuclear Fuel Cycle of
the French Atomic Energy Commission, CEA. Didier LOUVAT
graduated in Geology at Paris University where he completed
a PhD in Isotope Geochemistry.
