Current Research Activities
I am involved in neutron physics research at iThemba LABS, where we use the quasimonoenergtic neutron beams of energies 25 MeV to 200 MeV for high-energy neutron metrology activities, improving methods for neutron detection techniques, and measurements of neutron cross-sections. Our current research project aims to measure neutron cross sections to be included in the International Dosimetry Library for Fission and Fusion (IRDFF). I am also involved in research projects on nuclear structure, using the AFRODITE gammaray spectrometer at iThemba LABS |
