Dr. Richard Springman is the Director of International projects for Holtec International with responsibility for development of new business and providing oversight for Holtec's international used fuel and waste management projects. In his role, he works with both private and public sector utilities and governments around the world, giving him a unique perspective on the technologies, procurement practices, and contacts adopted in nearly all counties with nuclear programs. Dr. Springman is also part of Holtec's innovative technology team supporting new cask design and licensing, and has three pending patents to his name in this area.
