Denis Waerseggers joined AON Risks Solutions in December 2011 to take the role of European Power Leader within the Global Power Specialty. As from March 2014, he has been nominated Chairman of the Global Power Executive Team.

Before joining Aon, Denis was active during 10 years as Deputy Director of the Corporate Insurance Department of GDF SUEZ. He gained a tremendous international experience in the Power and Utility insurance world within the GDF SUEZ group.

Denis got also specialized in Nuclear activities and handled the nuclear insurance policies of GDF SUEZ’s interests in the Belgian and French NPP. In addition he took care of all risk transfer issues deriving from the nuclear projects of GDF SUEZ (Bulgaria, Romania, UK, UEA, France) and repowering projects of Electrabel in Belgium.
