Matthew Clarke
Deputy Director for Nuclear Generation and International, Civil Nuclear and Resilience Directorate (CNRD)

Matthew has been a Deputy Director in CNRD (formerly the Office for Nuclear Development) since April 2015. He is responsible for nuclear new build policy, including enabling policy for skills and the supply chain, and international bilateral and multilateral relationships.
Prior to the present role, he was Deputy Director for Civil Nuclear Security and Safety Assurance, leading the relationship with the Office for Nuclear Regulation and the Civil Nuclear Constabulary.
Before this, Matthew had a role at the UK Cabinet Office leading energy and transport resilience in the Civil Contingencies Secretariat, as well as private secretary roles to Secretaries of State. |

Humphrey Cadoux-Hudson

Humphrey studied Engineering and Management at Manchester University and worked at KPMG before joining Seeboard in 1991.
He was appointed Executive Director in May 2000.
Following Seeboard’s acquisition by EDF Group in 2002, he was appointed Strategy and Development Director.
Following the change to EDF Energy, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and became a member of the Board.
Following EDF Energy’s integration with British Energy in January 2009 Humphrey was appointed Managing Director of Nuclear New Build. He is responsible for the delivery of EDF Energy’s plans to build third generation EPR nuclear reactors in the UK. |
