Sandor Nagy is thedeputy CEO for generation of MVM Ltd. He graduated as a mechanical engineer at Miskolc Technical University. His career started in Paks Nuclear Power Plant as a unit shift supervisor engineer in 1979 having been trained in Novovoronezh Nuclear Training Centre, Russia.
He participated in all four Paks units’ commissioning and operation. From 1985 till 2001 he had different duties from head of section of Reactor Section to the CEO. Between 2001 and 2010 he worked in his own engineering company and then joined MVM, Hungarian Electricity Limited Company
as deputy CEO responsible for generation. Since 2012 when the Paks II. Ltd. was established he has been the CEO beside his position in MVM.
He is the founding member of the Hungarian Nuclear Society.
He participated in various IAEA and WANO activities (OSART, ASSET, WANO missions, follow-ups, workshops and conferences), presently he is the Governing Board Chairman of WANO MC.
