Planned, developed and executed policies and program to meet the objectives of the PNRA Mission. Organized, managed and conducted activities of Licensing for construction, operation and re-licensing review of NPPs and radiation facilities. Involved in activities of nuclear safety review, assessment and regulations of nuclear power plants, research reactors and safety class equipment manufacturer etc. Worked on preparation and application of Quality Management system and self assessment of PNRA. Coordination at international level with IAEA and regulatory bodies of other countries specifically China and USNRC. Liaison with IAEA for technical coordination matters and regulatory assistance for safety and security. Remained member of various IAEA safety Committees for preparation of international nuclear safety standards and at present is a member of IAEA Commission on Safety Standards (CSS) and Advisory Group on Security.
