Bombardier Transportation has received a $228m order from India's Delhi Metro Rail (DMRC) to deliver 162 Movia metro cars. The high degree of localization executed in the project at both Savli and Maneja sites is in line with the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ campaign that encourages local manufacturing.
