Ophir Energy Signs up LNG Buyers for Fortuna FLNG Project in West Africa
Ophir Energy has signed a preliminary agreement to sell gas from its Fortuna floating liquefied natural gas project in west Africa. The final investment decision is expected to be made in 2016 and first gas is expected in 2019.
With the now formal signing of all the HoAs for gas offtake with a core group of LNG buyers, the Fortuna FLNG project will continues to move forward on schedule.
