| Knowledge sharing for FLNG |
After the participating in the first phase of the Yamal LNG project, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) now is considering the possibility of joining Novatek's Arctic LNG project, CNPC International Department Director-General Li Yueqiang said.
Yamal LNG received around $10 billion in loan from Chinese banks to support its operation. Lots of Chinese companies such as COOEC, Mcdermott Wuchuan have participated in the construction of this project.
There is no doubt that China’s participating means a lot for Russia’s LNG project. After the success from Yamal LNG, will there be more cooperations between China and Russia? How will the capitcal and techonogy support the operation of these projects?
