WHAT IS WNIC-SMR America 2026

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to The 4th World Nuclear SMR & Advanced Reactor Congress 2026, taking place in Chicago, United States, on September 29–30, 2026.

The execution era has arrived. TerraPower has received the first commercial non-LWR construction permit. Darlington BWRX-300 has poured nuclear concrete. Linglong One is grid-connected. The global SMR pipeline now exceeds 22 GW and $176 billion in committed projects. The U.S. has set a 400 GW nuclear target by 2050, backed by the landmark $80 billion Westinghouse partnership and a $2.7 billion DOE HALEU investment.

At the same time, a new class of demand has emerged. Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Meta have committed to more than 20 GW of nuclear power for AI data centers. The $1.5 trillion industrial process heat market is opening, led by X-energy / Dow Seadrift, the first industrial nuclear heat project submitted to the NRC.

WNIC-SMR America 2026 is the global execution intelligence hub for the SMR and advanced reactor industry. 500 senior leaders, including reactor developers, utilities, investors, supply chain companies, regulators, and Big Tech energy buyers, will converge in Chicago for two days of ground-truth project updates, deal-enabling B2B matchmaking, and cross-continental benchmarking across more than 15 countries.

The congress will tackle the defining questions of this execution era: FOAK-to-NOAK economics, HALEU full-chain readiness, construction intelligence with AI and digital twins, hyperscaler PPAs, industrial heat offtake, NRC/CNSC/ONR licensing reform, and FOAK financing models, providing actionable intelligence to accelerate deployment.

We look forward to welcoming you in Chicago.

Best regards,

Organizing Committee

WHY YOU CAN'T MISS

A Global Premier Event in the Execution Era

The only global event uniting the entire SMR and advanced reactor value chain at the moment the industry transitions from licensing to construction. Stakeholders from North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia gather to benchmark real project milestones (not concept slides) across a 22 GW / $176B global pipeline.

Unmatched Networking with Decision-Makers

Engage directly with 500 senior leaders (52%+ at C-Suite / VP / Director level) from utilities, hyperscalers, reactor developers, investors, regulators, and policymakers across the USA, Canada, UK, France, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, China, South Korea, Japan, and other emerging nuclear markets.

Ground-Truth Execution Intelligence

Go beyond press releases. Hear construction-site updates from Darlington BWRX-300, TerraPower Natrium, X-energy Xe-100 at Dow Seadrift, and benchmark against Linglong One's operational data. Benchmark FOAK economics, HALEU fuel supply, industrial heat integration, and digital construction tools across three continents. Intelligence you cannot get anywhere else.

Showcasing the Innovation That Closes the Gap

Experience the technologies making execution possible: modular construction, AI-driven digital twins, TRISO and HALEU fuel, advanced reactor designs (HTGR, SFR, MSR, LFR), and industrial heat integration. A dedicated Innovation Showcase features 4 breakthrough companies pitching live on Day 2.

Business-Driven Agenda Built for Deal-Making

Structured 2-day B2B Matchmaking with pre-scheduled 1-on-1 meetings. Invitation-only Roundtable Power Hour with utilities and investors under Chatham House rules. A signature Chicago Gala Dinner. Every session engineered to generate bankable partnerships, not just talks.
