 This week, European  Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has  just confirmed their participation as speaker at 4th Central & Eastern Europe Nuclear Industry Congress 2018 during Jan. 18-19, 2018, in Budapest,  Hungary.
 Established in 1991, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is a Regional    international financial organization in Europe. The EBRD manages seven donor    funds providing support to increase nuclear safety and security in Eastern    Europe. A key task is the decommissioning of Soviet-era nuclear facilities    and equipment.This  time, Mr. Vince Novak, the Director  of the Nuclear Safety Department at the EBRD, is going to  share you the detailed information of Nuclear Decommissioning Programs in CEE  Region.

          | Vince Novak is managing support to the EBRD’s nuclear safety projects and the seven international multi-lateral grant Funds established at the    EBRD. More than 40 governments and the EU have pledged over EUR 4 billion to    these Funds aimed at providing assistance for the critical nuclear safety,    decommissioning and spent nuclear fuel and waste management programs in Bulgaria, Lithuania, the Slovak Republic,    Russia and Ukraine and, more recently, in Central Asia. Vince Novak    joined the EBRD in 1997 as the Head of the Chernobyl Shelter Fund (CSF). 
 Having  started his career in the nuclear industry in 1978, Vince held a number of  management positions in construction, project management and engineering for  major nuclear projects in Slovenia, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland and the UK  working for Westinghouse. At the beginning of the 1990s he focused on nuclear  power challenges in Central and Eastern Europe and in the mid-1990s became  Regional Director, managing Westinghouse business in the region and the  representative offices in Moscow and Kiev.
