IIC Asia Awards 2026 Celebrates the Organisations and Leaders Advancing Insurance Innovation
Organisations and leaders driving innovation across insurance, healthcare, and technology. From advances in health insurance and digital health to underwriting innovation and industry leadership, the ceremony recognised achievements shaping the future of the insurance ecosystem. Applications are now open for the 2027 edition in Singapore.
The Awards formed part of InsurInnovator Connect Asia 2026, held from 22–24 September 2026, which brought together 1,500+ senior attendees, 150+ speakers, and 20+ exhibitors. The event provided a platform for industry leaders and innovators to exchange ideas and explore emerging opportunities across the insurance landscape.
Corporate honours recognised the contributions of Manulife Insurance Berhad (HEALTH INSURANCE INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR), Nan Shan Life (HEALTH & WELLNESS ENGAGEMENT EXCELLENCE AWARD), Now Health International (DIGITAL HEALTH TRANSFORMATION EXCELLENCE AWARD), MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd (UNDERWRITING EXCELLENCE INNOVATION AWARD), Verisk (INNOVATION LEADERSHIP AWARD), and 360F (INNOVATION LEADERSHIP AWARD) , celebrating achievements across health insurance, wellness engagement, digital health transformation, underwriting innovation, and broader industry leadership.
The ceremony also celebrated individual leadership through the Women in Insurance Leadership Award, presented to Dr. Christine Yeung, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Life and Health at Sun Life Hong Kong Limited, in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the insurance sector.
Lawdify was named the winner of the IIC Asia Innovation Pitch Award 2026 following the conclusion of the Pitch and Win session, recognising its innovative solution and potential to contribute to the evolving insurance ecosystem.
Through these awards, IIC Asia 2026 recognised the organisations and individuals helping advance innovation and shape the next chapter of the insurance industry.
The journey continues with InsurInnovator Connect Asia 2027, returning to Singapore on September 28–30, 2027, with the IIC Asia Awards 2027 Ceremony taking place on September 29. Award applications are now open, inviting insurers, InsurTechs, HealthTechs, technology providers, and other ecosystem players across Asia Pacific to showcase their achievements and gain recognition for their innovation, leadership, and impact.
