Celebrating Industry Excellence: IIC Asia Awards 2026 Ceremony
The IIC Asia Awards 2026 celebrated Asia Pacific's insurance innovators and industry leaders in Hong Kong. Applications are now open for the next edition in Singapore.
On the evening of March 25, the IIC Asia Awards 2026 Ceremony took center stage in Hong Kong, honoring the organizations and individuals redefining the future of the insurance industry.
A signature highlight of InsurInnovator Connect Asia 2026 (March 25–26), the Awards were held alongside the two-day conference, which welcomed more than 1,000 senior executives, innovators, decision-makers, and over 150 distinguished speakers from across the Asia Pacific insurance, InsurTech, and healthcare ecosystem. Bringing together conference delegates and industry leaders, the ceremony celebrated those setting new benchmarks for leadership, excellence, and industry transformation.
As the region navigates a rapidly evolving landscape shaped by AI-driven transformation, digital health integration, and evolving regulatory frameworks, the Awards served as a timely tribute to the visionaries shaping the next chapter of the insurance industry.
Award recipients included Digital Realty (Technology Integration Excellence Award), Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company (Excellence in Product Innovation Award), FWD Group Management Holdings Limited (Digital Insurer of the Year Award), FPT Software (AI & Machine Learning Innovation Award), Bupa (Health Insurance Innovator of the Year & Digital Health Transformation Excellence Award), Cathay Life Insurance (Excellence in Product Innovation Award & Customer Experience Excellence Award), Papaya (Intelligent Claims & Anti-Fraud Innovation Award), FWD Hong Kong (Cloud Infrastructure Enablement Award), Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited (Data & Analytics Visionary Award), Ping An Life Insurance (Digital Transformation Trailblazer Award & Claims Automation Excellence Award), and Sun Life Asia (Data & Analytics Excellence Award). Together, they were recognized for pioneering new business models, advancing health ecosystem integration, and harnessing AI to transform underwriting, claims, and customer engagement.
Among the evening’s most distinguished individual honors:
- Pakamon Tulyapizitchai, from Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited, was presented with the Women in Insurance Leadership Award, recognizing her impactful leadership and contributions to advancing innovation and inclusion within the industry.
- Mike Ho, from Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited, received the Insurance Transformation Leader of the Year Award, acknowledging his leadership in driving transformative change and building agile, future-ready operating models.
The ceremony underscored InsurInnovator Connect’s ongoing commitment to celebrating excellence and spotlighting the leaders shaping the future of insurance in Asia Pacific. As the conference highlighted, the path forward will be defined by ecosystem collaboration, technology-enabled resilience, and a relentless focus on customer-centric innovation, principles that the IIC Asia Awards continue to champion.
