Celebrating Industry Excellence: IIC Asia Awards 2025 Recognises the Forces Driving Insurance Innovation Across Asia
The IIC Asia Awards 2025 recognised leading organisations and individuals advancing innovation, technology, and leadership across Asia Pacific’s insurance industry. Applications are now open for the 2026 edition in Singapore.
Innovation took centre stage in Singapore on the evening of September 24, as the IIC Asia Awards 2025 Ceremony brought industry attention to the organisations and individuals pushing insurance forward across Asia Pacific.
Held during InsurInnovator Connect Asia 2025 (September 24–25), the ceremony formed part of a two-day gathering of 1000+ senior leaders and 200+ speakers representing insurers, InsurTechs, HealthTechs, technology companies, and the wider financial services community. Against this regional backdrop, the Awards offered a moment to celebrate the businesses and leaders turning new thinking into progress across the industry.
From AI and digital transformation to operational agility, technology integration, and health insurance innovation, the 2025 Awards reflected an industry moving beyond experimentation and towards measurable impact. The breadth of this year’s winners demonstrated how innovation is taking shape across different parts of the insurance value chain.
Among the organisations receiving honours were, PROPEL with Singlife (Operational Excellence Pioneer Award & Technology Integration Excellence Award), Livwell Asia (Top Insurtech Initiative Award), Allianz Partners Malaysia (Digital Transformation Trailblazer Award), and HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (Health Insurance Innovator of the Year) and NOVO AI (IIC Asia InsurTech Pitch & Win Award).
Leadership excellence was also celebrated on the night. Keerti SETHIA of HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. was honoured with the Women in Insurance Leadership Award, recognising her contribution to innovation and inclusive leadership, while Manu Tandon of HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. received the C-Suite Executive of the Year award for his leadership and influence at the executive level.
The 2025 ceremony reflected a wider shift in the regional insurance industry, where technology adoption is increasingly being measured by the value it creates for businesses, customers, and the broader ecosystem. The IIC Asia Awards continue to celebrate those translating this shift into meaningful outcomes and setting new examples for the industry to follow.
The journey continues with IIC Asia 2026, returning to Singapore on September 23–24, 2026, with the IIC Asia Awards 2026 taking place on September 23. Award applications are now open, welcoming insurers, InsurTechs, HealthTechs, technology providers, and other ecosystem players across Asia Pacific to submit their achievements and put their innovation, leadership, and impact in the spotlight.
