Cold Chain is a Rising New Power in Smart Logistics
在中国智慧物流各板块中，冷链物流的行业起步较晚，各地区冷链发展不平衡，冷链水平流通率、行业集中度、信息化程度较低。但随着人们生活水平的提高，市场对冷链的需求越来越多，国家也在不断出台促进冷链物流发展的政策，技术亦在不断进步，越来越多的企业投入到了这个行业。
In different sectors of China’s smart logistics, the cold chain logistics started its development relatively late. The development of cold chain varies in different regions; the circulation rate, concentration level and digitalization level of cold chain are low. The demand for cold chain is growing together with the improvement of people’s livelihood. Government has been introducing new policies to promote the development of cold chain logistics. Technologies evolve continuously. More and more companies steps in the industry.
中国冷链市场既不缺需求，也不缺供给，更不缺资源，缺少的是结构合理而均衡的冷链基础设施。这其中既有冷链企业小而散、难于覆盖全冷链而易产生“公地悲剧”的原因，也有公共财政投资没有投放到本应投放的农产品冷链基础设施领域的因素。企业由于难以获取边际利润而缺乏投资动力，使得冷链系统极易产生“断链”。
China’s cold chain market does not lack demand, supply or resource; instead, it is lack of well-structured and balanced cold chain infrastructure. This is caused not only by the fact that cold chain companies are small and scattered in term of scale, which makes it difficult for them to cover the whole industry, but also by the lack of the public finance investment which should be allocated for agricultural products cold chain infrastructure. Companies are reluctant to invest due to difficulty of obtaining marginal profits, which leads to the “broken chain” in cold chain system.
标准化冷链在处理冷链末端的非标准行为时，难免会出现差池。而“互联网+”的优势恰恰满足了消费者的个性化需求。因此，在互联网和物联网基础上诞生的冷链电商，更应在末端配送上发挥自身的核心优势，探索冷链末端的柔性配送能力。
It’s hard for standardized cold chain to avoid mistake in processing non-standard behaviors. While the advantage of “Internet +” can meet the personalized need of consumers. Therefore, these cold chain e-commerce companies established on the base of the internet and the IoT, should leverage their core advantage in terminal distribution, and explore the flexible distribution capacity at the end of the cold chain.
