- Des Muller is the Director for the Nuclear Construction Services division at Group Five.
- He has over 20 years’ experience in power plant construction, process engineering and start-up commissioning.
- Since 2004 he has worked on gearing the local construction sector for Africa’s Utility and IPP capacity expansion programs in Coal, Hydro, Gas, Renewables and now Nuclear energy.
- In 2007 he developed Group Five’s Renewable Energy portfolio, with over 250 MW currently under construction.
- In 2011 he established the Nuclear Construction Services division in Group Five, dedicated to complying with nuclear safety related construction requirements.
In May 2013, Group Five, in consortium with Lesedi Nuclear Services secured its first major nuclear construction contract at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. |
