Dear Colleague, Czech Republic, with 6 nuclear reactors in operation (Dukovany 1-4 and Temelin 1&2), is faced with the headache of where to store the waste long term. Currently the high level nuclear waste produced from the process is still being stocked on site, it plans to select the deep geological repository site from seven preliminary sites earmarked. In 2020, 2 candidate sites will be selected, in 2025, the final site will be decided.
