The Czech government appointee tasked with fulfilling its nuclear action plan, Ján Štuller, has said six companies and partnerships have expressed interest in building new reactors: Rusatom Overseas; Westinghouse; France’s EDF; the joint venture of Areva and Mitsubishi ATMEA; Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power, and China General Nuclear Power Corporation. The Czech government wants to build a new reactor at Dukovany, one at Temelín, and possibly a follow-up one at each site. By the start of October, CEZ has already set up separate companies for the Dukovany and Temelin. In fact, the companies has submitted technical details of the reactor they could offer, Since it is the deadline by the end of October. On Nov 28-29, 2016, Warsaw, Poland, Ján Štuller, Special Envoy for Nuclear Energy of the Czech Republic from Ministry of Industry and Trade, Czech Republic, will give the speech of Policy and Prospects of Nuclear Power in Czech on the 3rd Central and Eastern Europe Nuclear Power Congress 2016.
