The process leading to the second opportunity for global oil and gas players to take a stake in a major Pemex deep-water discovery has begun, with Mexico's regulator launching a bid process that will see offers opened for the Maximino-Nobilis area on 31 January 2018.
The call for bids was published and data rooms were opened on Monday last week by the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH), which has set the process to occur on the same day as the government's second open public bid round for deep waters, known as Round 2.4.
The 2nd Offshore Mexico Congress will be held on Nov. 13-14 in Mexico City, Mexico. Governments, Operators and industry players will gather together to talk about the latest market trend, bidding rounds and farm outs. Early confirmed speakers like following.
