Welcome Message

Dear Industry Colleagues,
It is my greatest pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee to welcome you to attend the 3rd Deep Offshore West Africa Congress 2019, to be held on January 16-17th, in Accra, Ghana.

West Africa has been one of the most resilient regions in the global offshore downturn. And the gradual recovering crude oil price has given the market more confidence.

Countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon, Cameroon and Congo are either preparing or already initiated new offshore licensing rounds this year. Many deep offshore E&P projects also achieved big progress recently and further development activities are already in plan.

Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Senegal, Gabon and Cameroon are among the most active markets in this region, and counties such as Mauritania, Equatorial Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Congo also worth to watching. In General, West Africa deep offshore industry will present more opportunities for both global and local players in the coming years.

The 3rd Deep Offshore West Africa Congress 2019 is the only deep offshore event focusing on West Africa, covering topics like deep offshore new landscape, infrastructures, project updates, project management and supply chain, as well as digitalization and advanced technologies & services.

I am looking forward to meeting you in Accra, Ghana.

Best Regards,
