6 GT平均较5 GT产品减少了150公斤的重量，轻盈的身躯，自然带来了更为灵活的动态表现。新一代6 GT的底盘及悬挂结构，不像5 GT直接采用7系的部分，而是有模组采用了5系的组件，因而重量较轻；而虽然不像CarbonCore采用大量碳纤维板件，但是大量导入高刚性钢材与铝合金材料，同样让其达到轻量化的目标。
