Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome you to attend the Global Dairy Congress Russia 2018, which will be held in Moscow, Russia during November 12-13th, 2018.

Russian dairy sector is looking for partners for technology transfer and commercialization. Dairy enterprises of the Russian Federation on average spend 20-30% of revenue on modernization and technological upgrading. Main growth was not due to the construction of new complexes, but due to increased efficiency.

Dairy husbandry has become attractive for investment due to the state support which is to be maintained and accessible for all dairy market players. Before 2020, Russia wants to build nearly 800 new large-sized dairy farms designed for at least 3,000 heads of dairy cattle each.

Quality aspect in dairy production is still a hot issue. Electronic veterinary certification, not only for raw milk but especially for finished dairy products is a crucial instrument which will allow for product traceability, eliminating the possibility of re-export, and controlling dairy products from farm to shelf.

Global Dairy Congress Russia 2018 aims to bridge local and international dairy stakeholders to grasp dairy farming, processing, trading and investment opportunities for Russian market, by introducing industry development plan, trade policy, new and modernized dairy projects, technology and dairy products demands together with novel farming, processing and supply chain technologies showcase to enhance local production efficiency, accelerating investment and reduce cost.

I look forward to your participation in Global Dairy Congress Russia 2018 event.

Best Regards,
Organizing Committee of Global Dairy Congress Russia 2018
