Dear Colleague,

Recently, South Africa’s wine industry has a boost with the signing of (EPA) Economic Partnerships Agreement between the SACU (Southern African Customs Union) and the EU (European Union) which will allow the country to export 110-million litres of wine to Europe—up from the current annual duty-free quota of 48-million litres.

In fact, initially 70% of litre quota would be directed to packaged wines, which were those in bottles or other containers of 2 litres or less. It was likely that the packaged quotient of the allocation would be further increased.
Meanwhile, Michael Mokhoro, the stakeholder relationship manager for SA’s wine and brandy industries said "We hope to see winemakers capitalize on this (EPA) opportunity to build Brand South Africa and the reputation of their own brands.

Facing the opportunity, as the company of packaging and marketing, why not enter and take a look at South Africa market?

However, EPA offered a much-needed boost for the industry that had been besieged by drought and a tough global climate this year. Early indications are that the harvest will be smaller this year. It caused the gap between the less harvest and great export.

As the company major in ingredients, raw material, supply chain management, logistic, Exporter and distributor, do you want to join us to talk about the solutions of the issue?

Now Global Food and Beverage Congress Africa 2016(Which will be held in Nov 3-4, Cape Town), the only Food and beverage conference in Africa, provides the platform for you to talk about it. If you have interest, click here to know about conference.
