The driving range of EVs is not applicable for long-distance trip. BASF pointed out that lighter battery will achieve longer driving range. Distance per charge is the core competitive ability for EV manufacturers. To seize more market share, OEMs try their best to improve driving range. The lightweight battery will be the key to solve this problem.
