Lightweight is one of the most important methods to respond to stringent vehicle emission regulations. With lower density, aluminum and magnesium alloy come to be better vehicle lightweight materials. In China, the aluminum used target per vehicle will be 190kg by 2020, 250kg by 2025 and 350kg by 2030. The magnesium used target per vehicle will be 15kg by 2020, 25kg by 2025 and 45kg by 2030. Car-used aluminum and magnesium have great development space.
