Hi,

South African North- West University recently hosted a workshop to plan the creation of a network for nuclear education, science and technology in South Africa. The creation of such a network would bring this country into line with many other civil nuclear energy and technology countries.

North- West University programme manager: nuclear engineering Dr Anthonie Cilliers speeched at the workshop. In his presentation to the workshop, Cilliers raised a number of points:
How could a future nuclear energy programme contribute to larger national goals?
How could it affect the broader needs of the country?
How to achieve construction of nuclear plants and also the design, development and building of energy networks?

This time, Mr. Anthonie Cilliers will also present at 2nd Nuclear Industry Congress Africa 2015, so all key information will be got. As an important part of “stakeholders” involved in the national nuclear network, North- West University will share you fresh insight of South African nuclear development trend and latest updates.

Last week, leading companies like Holtec International, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Pinsent Masons, De-Tect inspection, Smagelok and SEG-DIT International join in 2nd Nuclear Industry Congress Africa 2015, would you like to be added in the list and take part in the international networking and learning platform?  Register now!
