Peter holds a first class engineering degree, and with over 29 years’ experience, is a senior figure within the UK and global civil nuclear energy industry.
Starting his career in 1985 for the UK Atomic Energy Authority, he then joined BNFL and Westinghouse.
In 2006, Peter then joined BNFL Research & Technology, now better known as the UKs National Nuclear Laboratory, heading up the waste management and decommissioning directorate.
In May 2013, Peter was appointed by HMG as a specialist advisor for the civil nuclear industry, promoting UK skills and capabilities, and building strategic relationships between the UK and global partners.
Peter is now Senior Business Development and Government Relations Manager for the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC).
His role for Nuclear AMRC is to help UK companies win work in the nuclear industry by developing competitive, high value and advanced manufacturing solutions. |
