S.KALIRAJAN, Head – Special Initiatives (Nuclear), L&T Construction is a M.Tech in Civil engineering and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has got vast experience 27 years in the construction of Nuclear Power Plants of PHWR and VVER types in India.

He led the civil construction of the first VVER at Kudankulam, India. He had introduced many new innovations in the construction methodology for a speedy construction. He was part of technical discussions with ASE for the expansion of the Kudankulam units. He played a major role in strategising the Public outreach initiatives for NPCIL as Chairman of Public Awareness committee

He joined L&T Construction in April’15 and is involved in creating new avenues for the business, identifying potential global opportunities where the expertise available with L&T Construction can be utilised for the development Nuclear Energy across the globe.
