Dr. Bulut is specializing on Structural and Earthquake Engineering with over twelve years of experience in performing analysis and design of various types of structures including nuclear power facilities, towers, steel platforms, foundations, retaining walls and steel, prefabricated concrete, and composite industrial facilities. Dr. Bulut is experienced in soil-structure interaction analysis, advanced dynamics of structures. Dr. Bulut has over five years of interdisciplinary research experience in the fields of experimental mechanics, structural health monitoring, model based damage identification, system identification, earthquake engineering, and vibration control. He is also very skilled in modeling and analyzing complicated structures (linear and nonlinear). He has worked closely with various internationally recognized codes and design specifications of AISC and ACI as well as NRC Regulations.
